Today I want to inform you of a collaboration of community leaders, church leaders, educators, business owners, and other civic organizations, along with the Anderson County Branch of the NAACP in a unified mobilization of strength to assist and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to exercise their constitutional right to vote! GET OUT & VOTE!
Our goal is to provide the public with the necessary materials, precinct information, and transportation to and from the polls to ensure that everyone has access to vote. We plan to achieve these goals by holding numerous voter registration drives and rallies throughout Anderson County, where citizens can not only register to vote, but also obtain the information that pertains to their situations.
We want to give your church/ organization opportunity to be a part of this community effort, to ensure that everyone votes in this upcoming General Election on November 3, 2020. As a citizen of the United States of America, everyone's opinion matters, and everyone has a right to be heard. Every Vote Counts.
Listed below are necessary information of dates and times that your church/organization can be a part in reaching the communities to “ BE FIRED UP AND READY TO VOTE!"
• Please provide the team with at least 2 members of congregations/organization
• Volunteer their service
• Please email email@example.com or call (864) 634-6374 or (864) 437-0446 by Tuesday, September 29th. Include the volunteer’s name and contact information.
• There is a volunteer trainer set for Thursday, October 1st at 6:00 p.m. to equip, engage, and encourage the volunteers for this election. We are providing transportation for those that need a ride the day of the election. We are working to eliminate any excuses for anyone to not to do their human right – to VOTE.
To ensure everyone has transportation for that day, we need churches/organizations to donate their drivers and van/buses. There will be a training to ensure the safety for that day.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (864) 634-6374 or (864) 437-0446 by Tuesday, September 29th, along with the driver(s) name.
We have planned rallies across the city to keep the people fired up and ready to Vote.
